This product is no longer updated, has been replaced by Maxsu Bridge and will soon be removed from the store.
Originally named Paste from SketchUp, it copies objects in SketchUp and pastes them directly into 3ds Max with origin and textures preserved. From version 1.25 it supports SketchUp 2022 and higher only.
SketchUp 2022 or higher, or version 1.14 of the script for SketchUp 2021 and lower. 3ds Max 2016 or higher, 2018 or higher recommended.
The script must be installed in both SketchUp and 3ds Max, in any order. In SketchUp, open Extensions > Extension Manager and install the RBZ file. The Copy To 3ds Max command appears in the Extensions menu. In 3ds Max, drag and drop the MZP file into the viewport and click Install. The Paste From SketchUp command appears in the D95 DESIGN category, and Paste From SketchUp (silent) pastes without opening the script interface.
In SketchUp, go to Window > Preferences > Shortcuts and assign Copy To 3ds Max, for example Ctrl + Shift + C. In 3ds Max, go to Customize User Interface > Keyboard > D95 DESIGN and assign Paste From SketchUp, for example Ctrl + Shift + V.
