  • Added function to force show textures in viewport for newly created materials.
  • Added Pick Material to Apply button: pick a material to apply to selected objects. Hold shift to apply UVW related modifiers as well.
  • Added Pick Material to Select: pick a material to select objects that are assigned that picked material.
  • Added “Add current material to Material Editor” button.
  • Added “Scale UV” button: click to enter scale value. Shift + Click to make texture smaller, Ctrl + Click to make texture bigger. Right-click to reset scale value.

  • Improved UV by Object: significantly more accurate and auto add Reset Xform to object.
  • Fixed a bug that make UV by Object function still make UI freeze when start process.

  • From now on 3dsMax user interface will not be locked when using Auto UV function. You can re-enabled this option in Script System Setting if needed. Note that locking the 3dsMax user interface when using Auto UV function (especially UV by Polygon) will provide some performance benefits and prevent users from making mistakes.
  • Fixed a bug that make Checker Material fail to restore original materials.
  • From now on you can use ESC to force abort when use Auto UV function.
  • Improved some tooltips and icons.

Important note: some of the features below are tentative ideas only, they are under development but may not be included in the next release, or even never come out. The feature with green font is done, and it will be available in the next release. Ideas are developed from user feedback and comments, so if you’d like a feature, feel free to contact me, I look forward to hearing from you guys.

  • After purchase, you will receive 1 license key for script. It can be used for up to 2 computers.
  • If you want to switch computers, deactivate the license on the old computer (About > Deactive License).


  • Drag and drop installer file (MZP) into viewport, click Install button (no need to remove previous versions).
  • You can find “Auto Material” button in Customize User Interface > Toolbar > D95 DESIGN.


  • Drag and drop installer file (MZP) into viewport, click Uninstall button.
  • You can choose to delete or keep the script’s settings for later.


  • From menu: Customize > Hotkey Editor
  • Type “Auto Material” in search bar.
