When opening the script for the first time after installation, the Active Smart Merge dialog box will appear. If you have purchased the script, enter your license key and click Active.
License information can be found in the email invoice after purchase. Note that you will need a internet connection to process.
After successful activation, a message box will appear notifying you of the remaining activation times. Click OK, and the script’s main interface dialog will appear.
Updating or reinstalling the script will not affect the script’s license, therefore, you should be able to use it immediately after installation. The script will also automatically detect the license without any further action when you install it on another version of 3ds Max on the same computer.
