Place At Center

Place At Center will place the light in the center of the clicked object. It’s quite similar to Free Place, but instead of clicking on any point, you have to click on an object

To use it, first set your desired light profile in Light Profile (1), then click the button (2). Click on any object in the viewport (3) to place the light. A light will be created and placed in the center of the object.

A few notes when using it:

  • By default, the lights will be instances of each other at the end of the command.
  • The light will always be placed in the center of the object, regardless of whether you use Snap (S) or not.
  • The light will be place continuously until the command is canceled. Cancel command with Right Click or ESC.
