Plane Light by Polygon will plane will create a plane light for each selected polygon. To make this feature work as expected, the selected faces should be quad-faces. The direction of the light is aligned to the normal direction of the face.
To use it, first select some polygons, then press the button.
Use the Click or Right Click buttons to adjust the direction of the light:
- Click: outside light.
- Right Click: inside light.
Note that the lights is automatically placed 1mm away from the selected polygon. If you want to adjust it, use the Reference Coordinate System as Local, Pivot mode as Pivot Point Center, then move the light along the Z axis.
